ADVENTURE GUIDE / BUILDS
Redstone Wrecker fire build
A melee setup built around the weapon’s native fire wave. Combine direct hits and burning groups with defensive support and potion-based soul recovery.
- Updated
Overview and reasons to try
Redstone Wrecker already has a native fire wave, so another Fire Aspect is not required. Guarding Strike instead offers a chance of defensive support after a kill.
Use fire waves against groups and direct melee hits against tougher targets. Warding Chimes supports the approach; use the banner and Fighting Fungus when there is room to keep attacking.
- The native fire effect leaves the enchantment choice open for another role.
- Group waves and primary-target melee attacks serve different encounters.
- Potion, soul and reuse support help schedule offensive artifacts around the encounter.

Key enchantments and reasons
The equipment details list enchantments for different playstyles. Choose replacements by the role they serve.

Shielding Smite
A chance to create an Ironhide pool on a kill, rather than permanent defense without kills.

Fire Aspect
Supplies a fire tool on a replacement without the native fire wave; it is not added to the original weapon’s native effect.

Ricochet
Spreads shots toward separated targets, a role distinct from extra projectiles, piercing or arrow recovery.

Ancient Alchemy
Adds soul gains to potion use without assuming unlimited supply or ignoring potion availability.

Bottomless Brew
Adds potion charges to support healing and soul recovery, distinct from unlimited repeated use.

Barrier Brew
Creates an Ironhide pool on potion use, a defensive role separate from Ancient Alchemy’s soul gains.

Health Synergy
Provides healing on artifact use; avoid exhausting the reserve merely to trigger healing.
Choosing equipment for the situation
Fire waves and direct hits
The native wave, an added Fire Aspect and burning damage over time are separate properties. Choose without relying on a combined multiplier or additive burning on one enemy. Weapon support and group-facing waves serve different jobs.
Defensive support windows
Chimes, a potion-triggered Ironhide pool and a kill-triggered Ironhide pool have different conditions. Plan disengagement around their gaps rather than relying on permanent immunity.
How to play
- Secure an exit before approaching, and use Warding Chimes when the situation calls for it.
- Fight near the banner or a cluster, completing combos to seek fire waves. Continue regular hits against a single target.
- Use Fighting Fungus when you can stay on offense; switch to ranged attacks or roll away before being surrounded.
- Use potions according to health and souls. When defensive support ends, reposition rather than assuming protection continues.
Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Enemies clustered in front of the melee approach.
- Fights where allies can coordinate around a banner position.
Limitations
- Spread-out enemies and frequent moves between positions.
- Targets poorly suited to fire, or solo targets that offer few kill-trigger opportunities.
- Spending souls on all support at once leaves less for the next defensive action.
Alternative equipment
With Clobberer or Burning Blade, choose Fire Aspect to supply a fire wave; the original weapon’s native fire is not inherited.
Replacing the banner with Grindstone favors weapon support; Blaze Bangle favors adding fire. Prioritize time spent safely attacking over an assumed combined bonus from multiple fire sources.
Alternatives are one-slot replacement options. Some also appear in other positions; there is no need to combine every alternative at once. Additional effects are roll targets, without relying on a summed multiplier from duplicate effects.
