Page delivery

This site uses Cloudflare to deliver static pages and images. Requests for page delivery and embedded videos are separate from the search, filter and autoplay preferences stored in your browser as described below.

Cloudflare's published policy explains that visits to sites using its services may involve processing IP addresses, traffic routing data, system configuration information, and other communication data. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for its handling of information, including for service delivery, maintenance, and security.

Information used by search

Site search runs in your browser. When you run a non-empty search, the page loads search data for the current language from this site if it has not already been loaded. That request does not include the query, and the site's search feature does not send your query to an external search service.

The query and content-type selection are reflected in the part of the URL after the "#" symbol. If you copy or share the URL, those conditions may be included. Please do not enter passwords, contact details, or other personal information that is unnecessary for your search.

Catalog filters use the information already supplied with the list. Filtering does not make an additional data request.

The query, classification, and list-group filters are reflected in the part of the URL after "#". They are also kept in the browser tab's temporary storage, called sessionStorage, so that the filters can be restored when you return from a detail page to the same list. Each list page has its own saved conditions.

Using "Clear" also removes the saved conditions for that list. If browser settings prevent temporary storage, filtering can still use the conditions in the URL.

Official trailers and connections to YouTube

Official trailers use YouTube's embedded player. With JavaScript enabled, the player and its control API load when the video section approaches the visible area of the page, within roughly 300 pixels above or below the viewport. These requests connect to youtube-nocookie.com and youtube.com before you press the play button.

If the site detects your browser's reduced-motion or data-saving preference, loading waits until you choose "Load the YouTube player". This site does not separately preload thumbnail images, but YouTube may request thumbnails, video or other resources after the player loads.

Connecting to the player or API may disclose your IP address and information sent by your browser to YouTube. The player uses privacy-enhanced mode, which does not eliminate external connections or the service provider's information processing. See Google's Privacy Policy for YouTube's handling of information.

Temporary storage of the autoplay preference

When you change "Muted autoplay", sessionStorage saves only whether the setting is on or off. This keeps your preference when you reload the site in the same tab or move between its Japanese and English pages. The site does not send this saved setting to its own server.

This temporary storage lasts for the tab's page session. Closing a tab or window and ending that session clears it, although a browser's session-restore feature may retain it. The site does not set its own retention period in days. If browser storage is unavailable, the next page may not retain your preference.

Turning autoplay off does not prevent the player or API from loading and does not disconnect YouTube. Saving this preference in your browser is separate from communication with the video service.

Features provided by this site

The search and filter features do not set cookies or use localStorage or IndexedDB. This site's code does not include advertising or analytics tools, accounts, or user-submission features. It does not embed or process a contact form; it links to the shared contact channel described below.

This site's code does not include Cloudflare Web Analytics. Whether analytics have been added is separate from the service providers' information processing involved in page delivery and embedded videos. This does not mean that the site involves no cookies or information collection at all, or that no logs are stored.

Your browser still makes requests to obtain pages, images, and search data. Not sending a search query does not mean that browsing the site involves no network communication.

Information handled through the shared contact channel

The operator, yuyuyu, uses the same contact form for this site and the existing information site. Although the form is on a different domain, the same operator receives inquiries about this site. The form interface is in Japanese, and messages are accepted in Japanese or English.

The form asks for your name, email address, subject, and message. Your message may also contain the relevant page URL and information included in your report. We use this information to handle inquiries, check published content or site issues, and reply when necessary. Please do not send passwords or personal information that is unnecessary for your report.
