Replace the bridge lever, investigate Little Howl Hamlet and check on a strange creature beyond the rift.

Starting conditions

Completion of the immediately preceding main quest is a defined prerequisite. Its available guide is linked in the position panel above. That prerequisite alone does not establish the exact acceptance timing.

Objectives and walkthrough

Repair the bridge and reach Little Howl

Return to the bridge and speak to the Farmer before replacing the broken lever. Head to Little Howl Hamlet, open the gate and investigate the village.

Drive back the illagers and follow them through the rift

Defeat the illagers and reinforcements in the village, then enter the rift. Pursue the illagers beyond it and pet the strange creature.

Find a way home and check on the creature

After petting the strange creature, defeat the rabid sifters and look for a way home. Defeat the rabid sifters again further along, then check on the creature after that battle. Return to the Overworld and speak to the Cleric.

Back in Little Howl, the Cleric thanks you and provides a lead concerning the illagers in the Deep Dark and the Enchantsmith.
