Sources and checking conditions
We distinguish official announcements from information checked in the game. Official information should identify its source and the date it was checked. Findings from testing should include the game version and relevant conditions where known. We do not fill gaps in a source or unreadable parts of an image with guesses.
Categories and mechanics from the previous game are not treated as established facts about Minecraft Dungeons II. An unknown value, something confirmed absent under particular conditions, and an observed zero or disabled value have different meanings.
Observations and assessments
An equipment example describes a particular specimen under the conditions in which it was observed. One acquisition does not establish a drop rate or a guaranteed reward. A specimen's values are not treated as fixed values for every item of that equipment type.
Recommendations and rankings should explain what is being assessed, its intended use, the conditions checked, the reasoning, and any limitations. Rankings are not calculated solely from numerical stats. Observed facts and editorial assessments should remain distinct.
Preparing and publishing content
We use AI assistance through Codex to organize material, prepare drafts, cross-check data, and run checks. AI-generated wording or a successful automated check is not, by itself, evidence that a statement is correct.
Our policy is for the operator to review content and proposed images before deciding what to publish. Original captures and internal research notes are not published as a batch. Material that needs a rights or personal-information review is held until that review has been completed.
Descriptions of testing should reflect what was actually tried. We do not mark unperformed checks as complete or promise compatibility with every device and environment.
Corrections and updates
New findings and corrections are compared with the previous content and its evidence. An article is not removed simply because an edit is in progress. Corrections and withdrawals are separate decisions based on the issue involved. Changes that affect readers should be made clear through update dates and explanations.
Japanese and English content is reviewed separately. Changes to shared data require checking their effect on both languages. An unfinished translation is not automatically published or replaced with text from another language.
